PathWays PA manages the Southeastern Pennsylvania Healthcare Alliance (SEPHA), a regional healthcare industry partnership, with funding support from the PA Department of Labor and Industry and the Delaware County Office of Workforce Development (DCOWD.)

An industry partnership is a consortium of employers, educators, and workforce development professionals coming together around the common purpose of addressing workforce needs, skills gaps, infrastructure requirements, business services, and retention/recruitment challenges.  One role of the industry partnership is to increase the skills and competitiveness of the industry.

Through PathWays PA’s leadership, SEPHA brings together the full range of healthcare providers in Southeastern PA.  As a regional healthcare workforce partnership, SEPHA focuses on assessing and addressing healthcare employers’ workforce needs and gaps, while helping low-skilled workers gain the skills, training and credentials necessary to advance in healthcare careers.  The Partnership is led by an Executive Committee representative of the full spectrum of healthcare providers.

SEPHA meetings provide a forum for learning about industry trends, legislative policies impacting the healthcare industry, sharing best practices, and staying attuned to regional developments.  The Partnership offers free and reduced cost training to workers employed by SEPHA members.

SEPHA holds membership meetings five times a year, with an Annual Recognition Celebration in May. At this time, the Partnership awards scholarships for continuing education to workers affiliated with SEPHA members.  For more information or to become a member of SEPHA, please contact Lyn Kugel, Vice President of Workforce Development and Self Sufficiency, PathWays PA (email or call 610-543-5022) or please visit the SEPHA website,
